ArcAngel Christmas Present Program

This year we decided to participate in the ArcAngel program through the ARC Lancaster Lebanon, an organization dedicated to empowering people with Intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).

The ArcAngel program connects companies and community volunteers with people with I/DD who need Christmas presents. We simply told them how many people we wanted to help and they sent us a list of names along with their Christmas present wish lists. The list had names of individuals from 1 year old to 53 years old. Every single employee at Martin Insurance Agency participated by selecting a name and buying presents from the list out of their own pockets. We were able to ensure that 14 people had presents to unwrap Christmas morning.

It was hugely gratifying to end this year of giving with this project. We are excited to continue making “giving back to the community” one of our missions in the coming year!
